I am so sad that she is gone. She was always a loving person to me throughout my career and then became a person that you just looked forward to seeing because of her personality. She had a knack of always making you feel welcome no matter how she was feeling. Thank you Susan for all of the help and always making me & Tina feel welcome around you. You will be missed.

    Rest in peace my friend.

Judy and Kirk p, my heart and prayers are with you in your loss. She will be truly missed and I am looking forward to seeing her again someday.
The thing that stands out most in my mind about Susen was how willing she was to help people. She never hesitated when a person or animal needed help or love, she just helped them. Iâ??ll always remember one time when she broke the top of one of my ceramic canisters. She told me about it and said, look I glued it all back together. I can only imagine how long it took her and I almost cried because I really didnâ??t care that much about it. I would rather her throw it away then spend her time trying to fix it, but in her mind she was gonna try and put it back the way it was for me. I guess she never thought anybody or anything should be thrown away without trying to fix it. She helped change how I value people, animals, and even broken things. I thank God for allowing her to be a part of my life.
My love and prayers go out to you all.

First and foremost, I offer my thoughts and prayers for healing to Kirk. I have seen, firsthand, the love and affection that he and Susan have shared. I know that my writing in the Guestbook is an unusual thing to do but, in the year of this horrific pandemic, we have all had to find different ways to do things that have been done a certain way for ages. In the absence of a more traditional forum such as a funeral or memorial service, or even a gathering to celebrate Susan's life, I need to say some things about her role in my own life. Susan was my big sister. For me she was the most beautiful, the smartest, the most caring and creative person in the entire world. She was my protector, my comforter, and my champion in all things. I will miss her every day. She had the greatest laugh, the biggest smile, and she had so much love for ALL of her family - the one she was born into and the family she gained the moment she pledged her love to her equally loving husband, Kirk. Her circle of family included so many lifetime friends, and she was always ready to make new friends and accept them into the fold. My heart goes out to all of you, as I understand the sadness and sense of loss you are all experiencing. And I look forward to a day when there can be a gathering to celebrate Susan's life through memories and stories. I am grateful for the comments that are being written here. When a loved one is lost, we all need to hear how their life impacted others. It helps to heal. So thank you all for your kind words and for your continuing thoughts and prayers.
