Obituary For Timothy Adolf Weatherstine

Portsmouth, VA — Timothy Adolf Weatherstine, age 37, of Portsmouth, Virginia, passed away on July 30, 2026, in Chesapeake, Virginia. He was born on December 12, 1988, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Timothy was a dedicated electrician with Tri-Star Electric, Inc., where he applied his skills and expertise with diligence and care. During his years at Tri-Star, he formed lifelong friendships that became a cherished part of his everyday life. His coworkers were more than colleagues — they were an extended family he deeply valued.

Growing up, Timothy had an enduring love for video games and proudly owned every system he could get his hands on. Gaming was more than a pastime; it was how he connected with his father and how he built a social circle that stayed with him throughout his life. Even with his passion for gaming, Timothy remained committed to nutrition and exercise, always striving to take care of himself and live with intention.

Two years ago, Timothy was diagnosed with Glioblastoma. From the moment he received the news, he faced the battle with extraordinary determination. He became an idealized advocate for survival — embodying strength, resilience, and hope in a way that inspired everyone around him. His courage and refusal to give up became a defining part of his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Peter and Donna (Myers) Weatherstine, and his brother, Peter Adolf Weatherstine, JR (PJ). He is survived by his sister, Sarah V. Weatherstine, and his niece, Grace L. Kellam, along with numerous family members and friends who will deeply miss his presence, humor, and companionship.

At the time of his passing, Timothy resided in Portsmouth, Virginia. A memorial is being planned and will be shared at that time. His family is being assisted by Simply Cremation as they navigate this profound loss. Friends and loved ones are encouraged to share memories and express condolences at SimplyCremationOnline.com.

In memory of Timothy, may we cherish the light, warmth, and determination he brought into our lives.

It seems to be that one of our funniest and shared memories was when we were kids and you kicked me off the bed onto your huge hot wheels track. That track didn't last long haha. We spoke a lot of this time amongst others, and got a kick out of it. I will forever remember the beautiful words you created in a card for Grace, speaking of her as she were the center of the universe. Ironically, she thinks she is and maybe that's your fault haha. Your dream was to own our childhood home. Obviously you remembered more than me when recalling childhood memories. It blows my mind that you were the one with brain cancer given how much you could recall and how quickly you could find your words, despite the fact that recently, those words just couldn't find you. We fought like true siblings did, not sure how either of us survived. In fact, I was not sure you even liked me until we had the conversation as adults and I shared that exact thought with you, and you responded, "You're a good sister." I cherish that, more than you know. We didn't always see eye to eye but when it mattered most, we were there for each other. It breaks my heart that in the end, this is where we are. I know you believed in the universe and didn't appreciate derrogatories against God. I hope somehow, one or both exist and there is something more than meets the eye. Keep watching over me and Grace, we need it now more than ever. Love always, Sis.

I am Mrs. Council, I didn't know Timothy but he was amazing. I enjoyed talking with him, he was funny, he loved to joke around. It was my pleasure taking care of him. I really miss him.
