Obituary For Timothy Lynn Siggins

We are saddened to announce that our beloved Tim passed away on 11/11/22.

Tim was born 12/3/1956 to Duane Siggins and Katherine Sanford Siggins. He grew up in San Jose, Ca. He joined the Navy in 1975 and served on the USS Guardfish SSN-612 until 1982. He then worked in physics at Stanford University in CA and Jefferson Lab in VA.

Tim loved the outdoors and spent time gardening, biking and hiking. He did a solo hike of the John Muir Trail in 2017 at age 60. He played guitar and wrote his own songs. He also enjoyed live music and enjoyed many concerts and festivals with his wife Elisabeth (Lisa) Siggins.

Tim was preceded to the after the afterlife by his parents, Duane and Katherine Siggins, and brother Kenneth Siggins. He leaves behind his wife/partner Elisabeth Siggins, step sons Eric and Joshua, and brother Richard Siggins, wife Anne and nieces Jennifer and Christina.

A service will be held at at future date at the site where Tim’s parents and brother Ken are laid to rest.

    This morning a mutual friend reminded me of Tim. I found this and was crushed. I'd always hoped to reconnect. I served with Tim on the USS Guardfish. We were both new and became very good friends. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who got to drive his Porsche. For several years a small group of us were inseparable. I wanted to express my sadness in discovering your loss.
