Virginia Beach, VA - Timothy Phillip Wadley, a devoted family man and distinguished veteran, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Born on January 14, 1960, in Gary, Indiana, he was 66 years old at the time of his passing.

Timothy graduated from Roosevelt High School in Gary, Indiana, in 1978. His pursuit of excellence and commitment to serving his country led him to a commendable career in the United States Navy, where he served for 34 years with honor and dedication, retiring as a Commander. Following his illustrious military career, he continued to serve the public as a government contractor, bringing the same level of diligence and integrity to his work.

Beyond his professional achievements, Timothy was a man of many talents and passions. He found joy in writing, drawing, and artistry, pursuits that brought him peace and satisfaction throughout his life. His creative spirit was evident to all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Johnny Lee and Eula Carter Wadley. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Josephine (McKinley) Wadley; his two sons, Timothy Wadley Jr. and Theodore Wadley; and his nine cherished grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous other family members and friends who will deeply miss his presence and the warmth he brought into their lives.
