Hampton, VA - Tina Lynn (Shackelford) Strickland, born on December 18, 1956, in Hampton, Virginia, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, in her hometown of Hampton at the age of 68.

Tina was a devoted mother and grandmother whose life was centered around her family. She had a nurturing spirit that was evident in her roles as both a mother and grandmother, offering her unwavering love and support to those she cherished most.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, George Sr. and Burdell Shackelford. Tina's memory will be lovingly carried on by her son, Troy Strickland; her daughter-in-law, Jennifer Prebish; her adored granddaughter, Nevaeh Hodges; and numerous other family members and friends whose lives she touched.

Tina dedicated her life to be a devoted homemaker and a loving stay at home mother, finding great joy and fulfillment in caring for her family. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering commitment to her loved ones were the hallmarks of her life.
