Trinidad was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hampton, and will be sorely missed. She was well known for her joy in the midst of her suffering, her hospitality (I visited her in the hospital, and she had ordered a big pan of pancit to share with her visitors), and for her dedication to the ICC Food Ministry. Even in her illness, she would canvas the local supermarkets to provide day-old bread for our food pantry. The Funeral Mass for Trinidad will be at Noon on Tuesday, January 13, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2150 Cunningham Drive, Hampton, VA 23666, followed by interment in the ICC Columbarium, and a reception afterwards in the commons.
