Virginia Dare Cannon-Prillaman, cherished wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025, in Chesapeake, Virginia, at the age of 82. Born on March 4, 1943, in Craven County, North Carolina, she was the beloved daughter of the late Claude and Ida Cannon.

Virginia dedicated many years of her professional life as an Admissions Secretary at Tidewater Community College, where her dedication and warmth left a lasting impression on colleagues and students alike.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Ernie Elgrin Prillaman, along with many friends and extended family who will miss her dearly. Her gentle spirit and steadfast love for those around her will be fondly remembered.

A private service in her memory will be held at a later date. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the support and condolences received during this difficult time.
