We've known Billy for two decades. Riverview will miss this great neighbor. He always had time to talk and share a kind word. Will miss seeing him with a line in the water at the end of Ethel Avenue. Billy was always quick to help a friend/neighbor. Wishing you peace, Billy. Our thoughts and prayers remain with you and your friends/family. Tabb & Linda

We have known Billy since about 2008....Spent many hours over many years with him at ocean view beach... swimming, fishing, crabbing, sunning and..drinking beer! Shared many a football game with him both on TV and at his beloved ODU campus... He was a fantastic friend and an incredible father.. A true gift to humanity for his unwavering commitment to our tidewater area and all his family and friends. Donald and Katherine

Condolences to the family first and foremost. Bill was one of the best bosses I had. I learned soooo much from him in regard to inventory. God has really called home one of his angels. Blessings 🙏🏽

I'm a long time neighbor of Billy's, and let me tell you he will be sorely missed. He had an innate sense of decency and kindness. Not only could you always count on Billy to do the right thing, you could count on him to tell somebody else when they weren't. He was an incredibly hard worker - and was always available to help out a neighbor. Billy could keep us pretty entertained with his stories, and he was a lot of to hang out with. It's quite a loss for us. Sari Wise

Mr Bill is a great friend. He is family. Always had a smile on his face. He was a great boss. I worked with him at Rite Aid. Our boys worked with him at USA Discounters. He loved the outdoors, fishing, grilling, gardening. He was a great dad. Would do anything for his boys. They should be very proud of him. He treaded our kids and grandkids like his. We will miss you Bill. You are at peace and with your family now.
